Workshop
The sustainable development goals: an introduction
In this interactive course, you will learn all about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs were adopted in 2015 and present an ambitious pathway to development that is economically viable, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable.
This introductory course will provide an overview of the SDGs and their purpose, and will cover:
- What are the Sustainable Development Goals?
- How modern advancements and connectivity can help us achieve the goals
- The importance of sustainable development
- Why you should care about the Sustainable Development Goals – as an organisation or business, as a university, as an individual
Through facilitated discussions and exercises, you’ll have a chance to reflect on what your next steps might be in using or implementing the SDGs, individually or in your place of work or study.
