Wonder Aficionada

won·der: a cause of astonishment or admiration

afi·cio·na·da (afi·cio·na·do male): a person who likes, knows about, and appreciates a usually fervently pursued interest or activity

I am constantly in awe of the world in which we live.

From a natural perspective, the wonders that surround us are never-ending.  The incredible sunrise.  The squirrel that peers at me through my balcony window.  The crocus that peeks up through the snow.  The air I breathe.

From a human perspective, the way in which our bodies function, our minds work.

The tools we've created and use, like the Internet, aeroplanes, garlic presses (I love my garlic press).

The weird and wonderful things we do.

I make a special point of trying to notice the wonders that surround me.  I actively seek them out.  I think that this is why time passes slower when you are a child:  you notice more, filter out less.  I love the wonder of the world and am convinced that if I lose my sense of wonder and my appreciation thereof, I'll be 6-foot-under because life will be utterly boring.
