The Interculturalist is my baby, which I started in 2007 as an idea and formalised into a ‘real business’ in 2010. I and my team help businesses who interact with international audiences communicate better so that they have an easier time doing business with people and businesses from different cultures.

What I love about this
I’ve been travelling, living and working internationally for a very long time. I know how easy it is for a simple miscommunication to escalate into a huge, hairy monster that destroys relationships, delays projects and results in failed deals.

With my hands-on experience, business expertise and academic grounding in linguistics and languages, I realised that I could help businesses develop the awareness and build the skills to avoid these problems.
